Individual Placement

Each member of our program completes a situational assessment to determine their strengths and barriers, preferences for job types, and the necessary level of support needed in the workplace.

Each individual is placed in an integrated work environment with an employment specialist who helps them steadily transition into independent employment.

Group Employment

In situations where the supervision required exceeds the support offered by a traditional employer, a group setting may be most beneficial. We utilize two models of group supported employment: Enclave and Mobile Work Crew.

Both models provide on-site job training, with additional training and follow-up services provided as necessary for the duration of employment.

Enclave Model

A small group of people with disabilities (generally 5-8) is trained and supervised among employees who are not disabled at the host company’s work site.

Mobile Work Crew Model

A small crew of persons with disabilities (up to 6) works as a distinct unit at several locations within the community, under the supervision of a job coach.
